HP Vivera Inks

HP developed Vivera™ Ink to provide customers with an ink that when used with HP Photo papers would provide studio quality photos. The remit was to produce an ink that would be fade resistand and produce vivid brilliant colour. Vivera inks are dye based rather than pigment based. This ensures that HP Vivera™ Inks provide a smooth uniform high-gloss finish on glossy photo papers.

Long lasting and fade resistant

HP Claim that their Vivera™ Inks will last up to 100 years or more when used in their six and nin ink printing systems. In addition to the the four main colours Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, HP have produced Photo Cyan and Photo Magenta. These colours are not watered down or weakend solutions of the main colour but specially created to give superb results and especially natural looking skin tones.
